Starting Shiro Mani
Shi-ro-mani
Shiromani (śirōmaṇi) means ‘the most eminent ’ and so is Aarushi’s grandmother (Nani) the rightful keeper of the name. Shiromani Jain was an artist and it is from her that the founder developed an interest in art, culture and stories of the past. And so the brand is a glimpse into the chest full of heritage passed down through generations as treasured heirlooms.

About The Artist
“Little girls with dreams become women with vision'
Since childhood, Aarushi was fascinated with art and culture. She completed her Bachelors in Fashion Communication from NIFT, Mumbai along with contributing to various craft upliftment clusters during her time there. She pursued her Masters from reputable institutions of Central Saint Martins and University of Westminster in London where she got opportunities to be a part of shoots for British Vogue and Conde Nast traveller in London and Paris. She has worked with renowned brands like Cosmopolitan Magazine, Fashion Design Council of India, Times of India and Tata Cliq Luxury to name a few. She gained experience as a Creative Strategist and Merchandising at Charlotte Tilbury’ s head office in London. However, this didn’t leave her content.
So, as she had done her entire life she followed her heart and after a few weeks of working there, flew back to India to commit to her passion for propagation and revival of traditional arts of her motherland, amalgamated with her expertise in the field of fashion through what comes to be known as Shiro Mani today.
Aarushi aims to bring success not just for the brand but recognition for the artists, arts and artisans from all over India whose talent and expertise are yet to be appreciated. She has built Shiromani from scratch with involvement of a diverse range of people who share the enthusiasm for preservation of arts, nature and people.
