To whom does art belong? Some would say it belongs to itself. That "Art is for art's sake." Surely, every artistic tradition has its own story. But what about the artist? To whom does art belong if not to the one who imagines it, toils to create it, and gives it form? And what of the one who sees it? The one who feels it, remembers it? To whom else could art belong? There is no one else left.
